I had a similar issue myself, turns out I didn't make the chat room in the first place, and when I typed in the name, and hit enter, it defaulted to join, not create.

So the issue is having fighters assignable, and them being able to operate remotely from the carrier... Removing fighter assist completely voids some use-cases like a smaller ship controlling the fighters while the capital does other stuff on gr...
